The 2018'19 NA3HL (0-1) Coulee Region Chill season is underway and the CRC hit the road this Sunday for a matchup against a Central Division foe, the (1-3) Peoria Mustangs at 3 p.m. at Owens Ice Center.
The Chill have made a few roster changes since pre-season camp. Coach Vaillancourt was happy to get Brady Lindauer back from Maryland. Brady was one of last year's team leading scorers.
The Chill have some guys from last year's Fraser Cup Semi-Final team that are up an tier 2 NAHL franchises at the Showcase in Blaine. Matt Francois is with the newly nicknamed Topeka Pilots and has 1 assist this season. Clayton Lackey is with the Lone Star Brahmas and Thomas Magnavite is with the Brookings Blizzard.
The Chill lost the season opener in Milwaukee last weekend after 4 year NA3HL defensive vet Toon DeSchepper scored on the PP assisted by Brady Lindauer in the 2nd period, allowing 3 unanswered goal in the 3rd period in a 3-1 loss.
